A Selection of Lake California Paintings

Welcome!

The landscape oil paintings in the slideshow (courtesy of photobucket) have been created since moving to Lake California, a community near Cottonwood. Beautiful scenery is everywhere; I love painting in my backyard!

In June, I showed two paintings done on location in Chico at Avenue 9 Gallery, one of them was featured in the paper and consequently sold.
In October I had a "Yart Sale" here in my "Garage Gallery", and Nov 1st participated in a benefit art show at the Gaia Hotel for Shasta Wildlife Rescue. I offered a painting for auction which sold at the event, and another piece has been sold on the layaway plan.

This is a new website so please forgive any inconsistencies! I cancelled my previous site, everydaypainter.com to save on monthly fees. And I felt it was time for a new look after three years with yahoo.
